Alternative medicine such as herbal medicine specifically is the topic that we are going to read and write about in the next couple of weeks. We started to understand the topic that seems an interesting thing to know and find the way that we can access to the information through databases, the Internet information sites and books. Although there are heaps of articles, abstracts and information everywhere, choosing a good and useful one to do the assignments looks difficult. I have started surfing through the Internet to find good sources and choose the useful ones for the annotated bibliography and report. However, writing the annotated bibliography without having enough information about herbal medicine seems hard at the first stage. Moreover, we need to find a subject and some resources for oral presentation as well. I think we will have hard and useful practice during the rest of the first term of our study that will bring us much practice and experience in academic English.
